Shrews and Moles

Shrews and moles are small and have long, narrow snouts. They have 5 digits on the front and hind feet.  Shrews are the smallest mammals in North America. Shrews have a long snout with a continuous row of small teeth. (Peterson’s Guide to North American Mammals, page 360)
