Carninal Droppings? (Guelph Lake Nature Centre, March 2015)

These bird droppings were found in a popular roosting area that is sheltered by young, white pine trees.  There were cardinal feathers nearby.  The feathers showed signs of hawk predation (damaged quills).  I don’t normally post photos that I am uncertain about but Northern Cardinal seems to make sense for these droppings.  Has anyone else seen droppings like these?
