Wood Duck

We found these signs on a spit of land between two wetland ponds in the Allan Park Conservation Area in Durham.  After looking at photos of feathers, the best match seems to be a Wood Duck.  The feathers have a gorgeous green sheen to them.  We found a squirrel-sized hole underneath the remains.  Alexis suggested a weasel as a potential predator.
